Fixed Wire Testing

Fixed Wire Testing or EICR (electrical installation condition report)

Fixed Wire Testing is a mandatory requirement for all commercial and industrial premises. All electrical installations suffer damage and deterioration throughout their operational life, which makes these tests essential in confirming the safe operation of the installation.

Often seen as a complex and expensive problem by managers and business owners, JPB works to make this essential process straightforward and transparent for its customers and partners.

JPB has a structured and unique approach to managing Fixed Wire Testing. Our aim is to proactively give the customer sufficient information to enable them to minimise disruption during testing and remedial maintenance.

Communication is the key to our success
Our fully trained engineers carry out an inspection prior to commencing work, to ensure any critical operations are not unduly affected by the testing. Any critical issues are brought to our client’s attention immediately and a plan of remedial action is agreed.

Quality and accuracy of reports are critical to the electrical safety process. Our reports are thoroughly checked by a Qualifying Supervisor before being made available and emailed digitally direct to the person ordering the work.

Ultimately it is the people that make the process work. All our engineers have City & Guilds 2391 part3 and IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition) qualifications and we undergo an NICEIC audit every year in order to validate that we have the skills, knowhow and procedures to help keep your business safe and complaint.

JPB are recognised experts in this type of electrical testing and can help you ensure that your organisation complies with all the relevant electrical regulations. To discover more about JPB and our unique approach to Electrical Testing Services get in touch.
